Day 01: Lake Manyara National Park

Commence your 5-day Tanzania Mid-Range Safari with a breakfast, followed by a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, this captivating park boasts diverse habitats that house an extensive array of species. The shores of Lake Manyara come alive with the vibrant hues of flamingos, while over 350 bird species inhabit the area, including migratory exotics. Wildlife sightings are abundant, from the Cape clawless otter to elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and the world's largest concentration of baboons. A picnic lunch within the park adds to the adventure, and you'll later unwind and enjoy dinner at Eileen’s Tree Inn.

Day 02: Serengeti National Park

Embark on an early morning journey to Serengeti National Park, where the wonders of African wildlife unfold. A stop at the crater rim en route offers a chance to spot game. Serengeti, a natural wonder of Africa, beckons with its breathtaking landscapes. Picnic lunch atop a kopje introduces you to the park's wonders, and a game drive unveils its vast beauty. Return to Kirimu Camp for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Full Day Serengeti Adventure

With another day in Serengeti, seize the dawn for optimal game viewing. From watching hippos in the Hippo pool to witnessing the Great Migration, this day offers unmatched sightings. Traverse diverse landscapes, from open plains to kopjes, where a range of animals find shelter. The day's explorations encompass elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and the elusive leopard and cheetah. A return to Kirimu Camp provides a cozy night's rest.

Day 04: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

Begin early with a sunrise game drive, capturing active wildlife moments. The journey then leads to Ngorongoro Crater, a haven for East Africa's indigenous wildlife. This extraordinary ecosystem houses a rich variety of species, including the rare black rhino. The crater's lush environment nurtures colossal elephants with impressive tusks. After a day of exploration, retire to Eileen’s Tree Inn for the night.

Day 05: Tarangire National Park

Indulge in breakfast before a short drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its majestic elephant herds. The park's seasonal swamps, savannas, and Tarangire River host an array of animals, from zebras to lions. Capture the awe of lion hunts or lounging leopards in the trees above. A park-side lunch precedes your return to Arusha, where your safari concludes at Karama Lodge and Spa.

Concluding Your Adventure

Your 5-day Tanzania Mid-Range Safari concludes with a drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport. From here, you can depart for your international flight or embark on another exciting journey, whether to Kilimanjaro or the serene beaches of Zanzibar.
