Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Mara
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with your luggage and ensure a smooth transition. After a warm welcome, you’ll be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara. The flight takes approximately 45 minutes, offering stunning aerial views of the Kenyan landscape. Upon arrival at the Angama airstrip, a lodge representative will be waiting to transfer you to Angama Mara Lodge. After checking in, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and a delicious lunch with breathtaking views of the Mara. In the late afternoon, set out on your first game drive in the Mara Triangle, where you can experience the incredible wildlife that the region is known for. As the sun sets, enjoy a sundowner drink at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a gourmet dinner back at the lodge.

Day 2: The Heart of the Mara Triangle
Your second day in the Mara will be dedicated to exploring the diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes of the Mara Triangle. Begin your day with an early morning game drive to see the animals in their most active state. After an exhilarating morning, you’ll enjoy a bush picnic lunch set in a picturesque location amidst the savannah. Following lunch, continue your game drive, focusing on areas known for large concentrations of wildlife, including the iconic "Big Five." As the day winds down, return to the lodge for a delightful dinner, perhaps choosing a traditional Maasai "boma" experience for a unique cultural touch.

Day 3: Skies and Culture
On Day 3, you have the exciting option to start your day with a hot air balloon safari (at an extra cost), floating gracefully over the Mara at sunrise. After landing, celebrate with a champagne breakfast served in the bush. The rest of the day includes a guided walking safari, where you can learn about the local flora and fauna up close. In the afternoon, visit a nearby Maasai village to immerse yourself in their culture and traditions, engaging with the community and learning about their daily lives. After a fulfilling day, return to the lodge for dinner and reflect on your wonderful experiences under the stars.

Day 4: Final Game Drive and Departure
On your final day, rise early for a last morning game drive, allowing you to soak in the stunning sights and sounds of the Mara before you depart. This is your last chance to capture those unforgettable wildlife moments. After your game drive, return to the lodge for a farewell breakfast, taking time to savor the delicious cuisine and beautiful views. Finally, you’ll be transferred back to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, concluding your extraordinary 4-day adventure at Angama Mara Lodge.
